Concentrators in American Studies or Ethnic Studies develop their course plans in consultation with a faculty concentration advisor, listed below. Students pursuing honors in either concentration will also work with the departmental Honors Director in developing a thesis proposal, and will then complete the thesis with a faculty Thesis Advisor and additional faculty Reader.

To declare a concentration in American Studies or Ethnic Studies, please

  1. Fill out an ASK declaration completely and submit it.
  2. Contact the relevant Concentration Advisor (see below) and arrange for a meeting.
